S&S Plant are CFTS accredited and our engineers are qualified to carry out statutory Thorough Examinations satisfying both LOLER & PUWER regulations.

We carry out Thorough Examinations on the following equipment:​

• Telehandlers
• Forklifts
• Excavators
• Loading Shovels

A statutory inspection report and certificate are issued with every Thorough Examination.

A Thorough Examination is a mandatory check required by law to ensure the mechanical parts of your lifting equipment are in safe working order. It is roughly the equivalent to an MOT for a car.

Work equipment must receive a Thorough Examination at least once a year.
